There is something satisfying about seeing a product finally ready to leave the factory.
For a while, FW519 was one of the products our team was busy working on. There were details to confirm, functions to check, and preparations to make before production could begin.
Now, we're happy to share a little update:
Our FW519 4G Fixed Wireless Phone has officially entered mass production and is ready for shipment.
But there's something about this phone we'd like to talk about beyond its production status.
At first glance, FW519 looks like a desk phone you might have seen many times before.
A handset, a screen, physical number keys — nothing particularly unusual.
And that's part of the idea.
Not everyone enjoys navigating a smartphone screen just to make a call. For some older adults, picking up a handset and pressing a familiar button can feel much more natural.
That's why FW519 includes dedicated one-touch dialing keys.
Instead of searching through contacts or entering a number every time, users can reach frequently called contacts with a single press, once the numbers have been set up.
It's a small detail, but one we think makes everyday communication a little easier.
If you've seen our FW519 before, you may have noticed a small black wristband sitting next to the phone.
It's not a smartwatch.
It's a wireless SOS wristband.
And it is probably one of the most interesting parts of this product.
A phone stays on a desk or table. People don't.
Someone might be sitting on the sofa, reading in another room, or simply moving around the house.
The 433 MHz wireless SOS wristband provides another way to activate the phone's SOS assistance function, within its supported wireless range, without having to reach the phone itself.
There's also an SOS button directly on FW519.
Of course, we hope neither button ever needs to be used in a real emergency.
But having an easier way to ask for help is exactly why these features are there.
FW519 also comes with features such as 4G connectivity, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and FM radio.
Those are useful parts of the product.
But when we look at FW519, it's the simpler things that stand out to us: the familiar handset, the physical dialing keys, the photo shortcut buttons and the small SOS wristband.
None of them needs much explanation when you see the product in person.
And together, they give FW519 a character that is quite different from our usual MiFi or CPE devices.
For the team at JIMICQ, it's good to see FW519 reach this stage.
What began as a product development project has now become a finished device, ready for customers and partners to bring into their own markets.
We're especially interested in seeing how FW519 can fit into senior-friendly communication products, home care solutions and other applications where simple operation matters.
And now that mass production is underway, we're ready to support bulk orders and discuss different market requirements with our partners.
FW519 is ready.
A familiar-looking phone, a few carefully chosen features, and a small wristband with an important job.
We're looking forward to seeing where it goes next.
